  if it were done by a group of children in school to another student the school would consider it a form of bullying.

  are dubs bullying other dubs when they do this?

  to me it seems like a form childish behavior that you would only expect to see in grade school..

It does not say no sex The ones married will need to stay faithful to their vows The ones resurrected will all be able to have as much sex with each other as they want... Being perfect their will be no jealousy or STD Just one big giant love-fest Ah Paradise

  A polite way to ask someone to keep their hands to themselves...

  what's a polite way to ask a man to keep his hands to himself while conversing in a group with you?.

  this neighbor of mine and i were sitting in chairs on the deck with other people.. he always touched me whenever he said anything to me or i said anything to him.. it was as if he was using touch like an antenna to send and receive signals.. i didn't know what to do, so instead of risking embarrassment for us both, i did nothing but stand up and step away.. i stepped away after he attempted to caress my hamstrings on one leg.. *shudder*.

  wonder why 60+ year old men think that a woman being nice to him means she's hot for him.. also wonders why it's only the smoking, beer guzzling, scrawny, bony, and smelly old men who do that.. .

  Thanks White Dove.... I surprise myself sometimes....I'm not always tactfull... As you are no doubt aware..... In that statement you are giving him what he wants .. to talk to you but on one condition and in using the formula.... when you do this I feel this you are not threatening him..... It is a pretty hardened individual you will respond by saying "I don't care about your feelings". If he responds by saying "Why do you feel that way" Simply say "I don't know I just do" If he continues to touch you look him in the eye and then down at his hand on your leg You will soon break the habit Some people are touchy feely by nature it's not sexual but then of course he may be a dirty old man ...You'll know which....Woman are usually pretty astute at discerning body language and the vibes....   during a potluck for the hotel where i work, two housekeepers got into a fight because of some petty stuff thats been going on (so ready to quit but havent been job hunting like i should).

  anywho, the head housekeepers starts bitching at the housekeeping supervisor and then bust out the other lead housekeeper, saying that she smells like a bag of onions!

  i did not attend (i work third shift, and only attended event at work the first year that the hotel opened (2008).

  Is the Governing Body Guilty or not guilty of 1975 speculations going too far?

  the most disengenuous aspect of "official" pronouncements from the society can be identified.. it is in the positioning of the speaker/writer as a passive onlooker commenting on exterior happenings.. this bystander mode is clever by half.. why?

  it spoon feeds information without taking any active personal responsibility.. sort of an "oh gee, wow--look at all this going on" stance, while taking a stand-offish tone, is printed in the official magazines and books approved for publication by the governing body as mouthpiece of jehovah.. think about that.

  it is insidious incitement without responsibility.. the person (likely fred franz) who crafted these bulletins had gone through several previous incidents of failure and disappointment and was well aware of the effect of any speculations upon jehovah's witnesses in the past.. this makes what was printed all the more calculated and irresponsible in the extreme.. let us parse the language printed by the watchtower society with careful attention to what is said and left unsaid.. w68 8/15 p. 494 why are you looking forward to 1975?.

  Why is sex suddenly pure and holy after you receive a marriage certificate?

  if a witness couple who are engaged to one another, decide to express their love toward each other by engaging in sexual intercourse just weeks or even days before they're officially married, they are considered to be loathsome, unclean people.

  the witness girl would be seen by others in the hall as a dirty little whore...and the guy would just be thought of as a horny young man who couldn't keep it in his pants.

  during the decades in which i was a jw, so many times i heard comments about how the wtbts is the only organization that god is directing here on earth today.

  in fac there was a popular story in the late 70's about how the us army once came to a district assembly to observe, and learn how to better organize large groups of people.

  ( i remember the speaker commenting on how many attendee's thought the tribulation was starting because the army was there.
